Always up for a challenge? I have one which will test even the most hardcore individuals, which is the epic trail race from Morzine to Avoriaz taking place on August 12th, 2017. In addition to the thrill of competition and putting your limits to the test, this popular trail race also provides the brave runners with breathtaking views from the highest summit in Portes du Soleil – the almighty Hauts-Forts.


The Race


The route will start in Morzine and take you over passes and summits around the awesome Hauts-Forts, before finishing in Avoriaz at 1800 metres. Be warned Nike Odyssey React Black Australia , this is not for the faint of heart!


Last year over 500 people competed, which created an electric energy that swirled around the region for the entirety of the day. There are three different races to choose from; 55km, 24km and a relay race (two runners) for the long path only.

There are several drink stations along the route, as well as three main locations for food and drink: Plateau de Nyon, Mines d’Or lake and Jean Vaurnet square in Avoriaz.
